Brookfield Homes
Does Brookfield Homes stand behind their work and their construction quality? I am about to find out. Brookfield Homes started off by being friendly and nice and now, it seems they are simply screwing me with a smile.
Do you own or are you thinking of buying a Brookfield home?
Stay tuned as I will post a detailed account of my experience with them in dealing with home builder warranty issues.

Sheriff Run
One of the local exotic car clubs arranged a canyon drive with one of the local Sheriff departments. The deal was, we do a spirited (but not too spirited) drive escorted by the cops and the cops get a big fat donation. It was a win/win except that the California Highway Patrol wasn't in on it and ended up ticketing some of the exotic car drivers AND some of the sheriffs who were driving their civilian cars.

More Powerboating on Lake Mead
Here's a good time... my two buddies that have offshore powerboats took them to Lake Mead. We stayed out near Lake Las Vegas and then did the whole boating thing during the day and ended up on the strip at night. Too bad I'm not in my 20s cause then I might have actually been able to party all night instead of turning in at 1 AM... dead tired. :(
We had large suites at the Venetian too. Ahhh... the curse of age (and I'm not even that old yet!).

More Runs
A few pics from some recent runs I went on. The license plate on the Scuderia says "GON60MS" or Gone in 60 milliseconds.. in reference to the Scuderia shift times. The owner is a girl. :)
The second pic is from our Mt. Baldy run. The road going up the mountain was *insane*. My friend in the black Stradale was fishtailing through the hairpins and switchbacks. He did a not-so-graceful partial spin out in front of me on one of the turns.

The Fast and the Furious 3
OK, I guess you can tell that this happened a long time ago. A friend of mine arranged for us to attend a special screening of the latest Fast and the Furious movie. The guys that invited me drove out their Skyline GT-Rs. The deal was: special parking for special cars. The deal turned out to be: a Hot Import Night's crowd and over zealous parking security telling us to go inside and get out of the parking lot immediately after we finished parking. :S I felt like an asshole bringing a Ferrari to park among all the Supras, Celicas, and Civics... especially after revving my car like crazy in front of them and yelling out "I'm Riaaach Biyaaaatch!".
Kidding...

Finally, a blog update
So call me lazy but I have put exactly 0 time into this blog. Since I only have 3 regular readers and most of my blog views are for the Costco air mattress review, I have had little motivation to post updates.
So to you 3 readers, I apologize. Here are some updates....

My friend bought an F50 and organized maximum "showoffage" by having all the Ferrari supercars at the weekly Cars and Coffee event. So someone brought a 288GTO, another person brought an F40, and yet another brought an Enzo.
Later on, we all drove to Crystal Cove for breakfast. Driving next to the F50 was incredible. There are fewer than 50 in the United States.
Even among the super cars, when your car is blue and everyone else's is red, you get special attention. :D
